Honest Care Ltd are seeking confident, positive, compassionate and caring SUPPORT WORKERS and COMPANION CARERS for upcoming contracts in the Derby areas, including SINFIN, LITTLEOVER, LITTLE EATON, ALLESTREE and CHADDERSTON.

COMPANION CARERS (No personal care)


These are exciting opportunities for those already skilled in Health and Social Care OR those wishing to make a difference to other peoples lives and work within the community, giving support to the vulnerable.

The role will b​e varied but predominately involve the delivery of some personal care to vulnerable adults with either learning difficulties, complex needs, mental health issues and/or illness due to age and frailty.


Duties could include:

  • Delivery of personal care and support to vulnerable clients.
  • Personal support so that our clients can continue to lead valued and fulfilled lives.
  • Assistance with medication.
  • Preparation of meals and general assistance around the home (if required)
  • Ability to adhere to/understand and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Complex medical needs (if required, specific to clients), including stoma care, catheter care, cough assist, ventilation, tracheostomy.
  • Moving and handling.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience in Care either Home care community based or nursing home
  • Caring, compassionate nature
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Smart appearance
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Understanding of Care Quality Commission and care standards
  • Experience (desirable) in complex care
  • Experience of mental health/dementia/elderly.
